Protecting childhood in Sri Lanka

What We Do: An Inside Look

Imagine a world where every child thrives. A place where healing from trauma and basic needs are met with compassion and love. At CERI, our team is working with children, families, communities and governments, to protect childhood around the world. See how together, we’re creating a world where every child has a chance to thrive.

Around the world, our team is walking alongside children and families. Our approach is changing local communities and shaping entire nations.

For too many, generational poverty, global instability, and fragmented ways of supporting people in need prevent kids from reaching their full potential. At Children’s Emergency Relief International, we’re working to change that.

We begin by meeting children’s most basic needs: food, clean water, a safe home. We provide emergency relief because no child can flourish when they’re hungry.

We strengthen families so children have safe, loving homes. When families are strong, they stay together. Through counseling, case management, and foster care, we give families the support they need every step along their journey.

We uplift communities with our educational programs, life skills training, and women’s empowerment classes. Our centers are places of hope and opportunity where children and families always find caring staff through life’s hardest moments.

To ensure children have the support they need for generations to come, we partner with governments and local organizations. We promote policies that protect children’s rights and train local professionals to build more resilient communities.

Join us in protecting childhood!

Together, we’re creating a world where every child has a chance to thrive.
