I’ve been in the non-profit space for over 5 years, working with a previous CERI affiliate as a Graphic Design Manager. When the window of opportunity to work with CERI opened, I took the leap with no hesitation. CERI’s holistic approach and mission align so deeply with my values, as serving children and communities is a high priority.

Behind the Scenes: 

I love listening to podcasts, experimenting with new recipes, exploring Austin with friends, and discovering local trails with my dog, Kuzey. I have a big heart for animals and recently fostered a litter of kittens and their mom.

Why CERI? 

Being able to grow alongside CERI and work collaboratively with our global staff and the population we serve will keep me inspired and connected to the CERI mission.

What gives you inspiration in life? 

My grandmother is my inspiration for what I do. Her entire life has been marked by graciousness and service to her community. She has volunteered with many different charities and church campaigns. She has also been actively involved in projects such as running food drives or gathering and distributing care packages for the unhoused. Every holiday season, my grandmother individually donates to a charity of our choice in each of our names. Her contagious devotion to making the world a better place has carried me through my career and has filled me with the firm conviction that changing the world is not only possible but necessary.

What Protecting Childhood Means: 

Protecting childhood means that children can grow into a safe and nurturing environment with love, guidance, and room to learn and play.

Favorite Childhood Memory:  

My fondest memories as a child are when my mom and I would do arts and crafts together, such as painting, drawing, or working with clay. I grew up with many siblings in a hectic household, so I cherish the times my mom could take a moment to sit with me and encourage my creativity.
