Maria brings over 5 years of public relations and communications experience for tech clients in the B2B industry. Maria graduated with her Bachelor’s in Business Administration: Marketing, and a Certificate of International Studies in Business from the University of Washington. At CERI, she focuses on sponsor relations and communications as well as working in close alignment with the in-country sponsorship coordinators and operations team.

Cum a început:  

After several years working in Public Relations, I decided in 2025 to make the switch to the nonprofit world. I feel a great sense of reward and wellbeing by applying my skills to such a high-impact role – all while bringing my business, analytical, and cultural knowledge that I acquired over the years. analytical and cultural knowledge that she acquired over the years.

De ce CERI? 

I chose CERI because I wanted to make a global impact on the lives of children and their families. The team at CERI from day one has been incredibly welcoming and supportive. It’s wonderful to do great work alongside even greater people.

În culise: 

Outside of work, I enjoy playing racquet sports such as pickleball, beach tennis and tennis as well as reading for my book club, and spending time with my dog, Blu.

My favorite childhood memory is playing outside with my neighbors. We would ride our bikes, play hide and seek and have sleepovers constantly.
