Sri Lanka is an island nation of about 22 million people where many families continue to recover from economic hardship, natural disasters, and the lasting effects of past conflict. These challenges can increase risks for children, making family strengthening and child protection programs especially important.
CERI in Sri Lanka
CERI has served Sri Lanka since the 2004 tsunami, working with children, families, communities, and government partners to protect childhood and strengthen families. Its programs focus on family-based care, child protection, family reunification, emergency relief, and helping communities build long-term resilience.
