Blanca Venegas

Executive Assistant & Office Manager

I have worked in the non‑profit sector for over seven years. Before joining CERI, I worked with another non-profit and affiliate of CERI. My most recent role there was Training Supervisor, where I managed all personnel training for our branch, ensuring compliance with all federal and state standards.

Prior to that, I served as an Assistant Lead Case Manager and Case Manager, ensuring compliance while supporting effective service delivery for children and families.

I graduated from the University of Houston with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Spanish.

Cómo empezó:

Before joining CERI, I worked with a CERI affiliate serving vulnerable populations, particularly unaccompanied children and their sponsors. That experience shaped my commitment to supporting children and families through compassionate, structured, and mission‑driven work.

¿Por qué CERI?

My career has always been guided by a desire to serve others. I believe we all have the ability to make a difference and help create a better world for children and families. CERI’s mission aligns deeply with my values and the work I feel called to do.

Entre bastidores:

Outside of work, I enjoy immersing myself in stories—whether through books, films, or travel. I love exploring new cultures, connecting with family and friends, and expanding my understanding of the world.

Qué significa proteger la infancia:

Protecting childhood means creating a world where all children can thrive and reach their full potential in a safe, nurturing family environment.

Somos defensores de la infancia en todo el mundo, comprometidos a cambiar vidas gracias al poder de la familia.
